'I Am Number 4", by Pittacus Lore

It was just after christmas and I was feeling both bored and demoralized. Bored beacuse I had no books, and demoralized for the same reason. Fortunatly my granny had given me a gift certificate to a store downtown. Unfortunatly, I was far to lazy to walk all the way downtown and back (although I won't deny my house is fairly close to the downtown area). I badgered my parents (Sorry mom, dad) until my mom finally gave in and traded the certifacate for money out of her own pocket (Love you guys, sorry for losing the certificate a week later). Mom drove me up to the mall to visit the one and only bookstore (I swear, our mall is the smallest in the area), and let me pick a book. I Am Number 4 instantly caught my attention. Not only did it have a weird name, the front of the book was bright orange with a wierd yellow design and the author's name was Pittacus Lore. I picked the book up and turned it over to the back. It was one of those WTF moments. It had the strangest and least descriptive summary ever. And I mean EVAR! Despite that I brought it up to the cashier and bought it. The next day I was in complete denial of how so f-ing asome it was. It simply blew me away how the author managed to put aliens, romance, action, and super powers all in one book. Now they are coming out with a movie (it'll probably suck). If you like aliens--heck, even if you don't--you should totally check this book out. Out of ten, this book rates rates a total of 9 awesome stars.

I Am Number 4, by Pittacus Lore (Coolest name EVAR) rates 9/10 stars

  1. I haven't read this book yet, but I want to. One of my friends has it, so I'm gonna borrow it from her.
