"The Mortal Instruments" series, By Cassandra Clare

I wasn't quite sure about this series at first glance. The title pages kind of creeped me out. My best friend had been pressuring me to read it for a while, so I picked it up at the local library (libraries are our friends). Once again, I was skeptical. I mean, who calls a book The City of Bones? I was like WTF? I still flipped to the first page though. Five seconds later, I was completely enthralled. Cassandra Clare has outdone herself in this amazing masterpiece. It had me wishing every second to be able to live in this book. It sounds strange, but that was how much I loved it. As soon as I was finished, I went straight back to the library to get the next two books in the series. The City of Ashes and The City of Glass were just as great, keeping me on the seat at every turn--wanting more. I can't wait for the next book, The City of Fallen Angels and the movie for the first book. Out of ten, this book is an eleven.
